uaprss.com is owned and written by Jeremy Criddle. Here’s how the site is funded and what that does and doesn’t affect.
Affiliate Links — Deliberately Limited
Only a couple of this site’s pages carry an affiliate link at all: Surfshark on the National Archives research guide (privacy-conscious online research is a genuine, honest overlap with this topic) and Hotels.com on the guide to visiting the National Archives in person. Both are real product tie-ins already used elsewhere in this network, reused here rather than forced onto new content. The case-explainer pages (Tic Tac, Gimbal, GoFast, Jellyfish, Aguadilla) and the AARO/PURSUE reference pages carry no partner links at all, by design — they exist as pure sourced reference content.
What This Site Doesn’t Do
No speculation presented as fact, no rehosting primary documents when a link to the official record works instead, and no conflating “unresolved” with “extraordinary” — that distinction is core to how AARO’s own classification system works, and it’s preserved here rather than simplified for a better story.
